[[Yu-Gi-Oh!]] [[Duel Monster]] card. Known within the community as one of the most powerful "hand trap" cards ever released due to its ability to allow its user to capitalize on their opponent's special summon combo (that became more prevalent in the 2010's) and easily find a card(s) to counter them. This often resulted into the opponent have to stop their summoning combo to prevent the Maxx C's user from gaining more card advantage, or take a part in the "Maxx C challenge" to special summon as many monsters as possible in an attempt to deck out the opponent. The card was banned from TCG in 2018 but still saw widespread use in OCG.

Its Japanese name is "Proliferating G", with "G" stands for "gokiburi", a Japanese word for [[cockroach]]. The monster itself is depicted as several pairs of shiny eyes, representing cockroaches lurking in the shadows.
