雷 (いかずち) ("Thunder") [i]Ikazuchi[/i] is the 23rd Fubuki-class destroyer and/or 3rd Akatsuki-class destroyer in [i][[Kantai Collection]][/i]. Character design by [[Yadokari (Migihashi)|]], voiced by [[Suzaki Aya]]. h4. Appearance The Akatsuki-class wears a white and dark blue [[serafuku]] with a "III" somewhere on themselves as well as some form of [[black legwear]]. Ikazuchi herself has [[short_hair|short]] [[brown hair]] with [[hairclip]]s on her left and [[thighhighs]] that reach below her skirt. The "III" is on the right side of her collar. h4. Personality An excitable girl, she is often shown with her sister ship [[inazuma (kancolle)|Inazuma]]. The two are extremely similar in appearance; having been laid down on the same day they are depicted as twins. She is also often depicted as very doting to the admiral, many a times spoiling them beyond help (her pixiv nicknames "Loli-Okan" and "Useless Admiral Maker" refer to this side of her). Sometimes depicted as being clingy, to the point of being [[yandere]]. Such depictions get her the nickname "Black Thunder" (ブラックサンダー) among the fandom. In works showing both ship and real-life captains, Ikazuchi is occasionally shown with Captain [[Kudou Shunsaku]]. It was under his orders that 442 survivors from HMS Encounter and USS Pope were rescued after the Second Battle of the Java Sea, despite the threat of enemy submarines and how her combat capabilities would be compromised due to the burden. h4.
