Lady Maria is a renowned Huntress who comes from Cainhurst, and is related to [[queen_annalise]] of the Vilebloods. She was trained under the tutelage of [[gehrman_the_first_hunter]]. Despite being of Cainhurst descent, she refused to use either blood magic or the Chikage; Instead, her trick weapon of choice is the Rakuyo, a double-bladed [[sword]] which can be separated. [spoiler]She has an extreme resemblance to the [[plain_doll]]. This is because Gehrman, who had a secret infatuation with Maria whilst training her, modeled the Doll after her.[/spoiler] [spoiler]After being trapped within the Hunter's Nightmare, she sought to defend the Fishing Hamlet that was ravaged by Byrgenweth from anyone aiming to get into it.
