敷波 ("Spreading Waves") Shikinami is the 12th Fubuki-class destroyer/2nd ship of the Ayanami-class destroyers in [i][[Kantai Collection]][/i]. Appearance [tn]See post #3226378.[/tn] In-game, [i]Shikinami[/i] has [[medium hair|medium-length]] [[brown hair]] tied in a [[ponytail]], and [[brown eyes]]. She and [[ayanami (kancolle)|Ayanami]] wear a [[brown sailor collar]] version of the Fubuki-class [[serafuku]], complete with a [[brown skirt]]. She would obtain [[Shikinami Kai Ni (Kancolle)|her second remodel]] with the February 7th 2020 update, her outfit is essentially the default Special Type Kai Ni uniform. See the page for more details. h4. History In real life, [i]Shikinami[/i] was part of DesDiv19 alongside her sister Ayanami and her half-sisters Isonami and Uranami. She first saw action in the battle of the Sunda Strait where she fired the torpedo that sank [[Houston (Kancolle)|]]. Later seeing action in the [[battle of Midway]] and Naval Guadalcanal, she rescued [[Shirayuki (Kancolle)|]]'s survivors in the battle of the Bismarck Sea and spent the rest of her combat duty as a convoy escort, where she was sunk in one of these in September 1944. h4.
