[[Ash Ketchum|Ash]]'s traveling companion in the [[Pokemon journeys|2019 Pokémon anime]]. Goh is a book-smart city boy from Vermilion City in Kanto. When he was six, Goh had a fated encounter with [[Mew]]. Since then, he has dreamed of catching the mythical pokemon. After meeting Ash and travelling to Galar, Goh meets a [[Scorbunny]], and while he initially turns down the enthusiastic Pokémon, it eventually becomes his starter Pokémon. Now, Goh's goal is to fill his Pokédex, believing it will bring him closer to [[Mew]], rumored to be the common ancestor of all Pokémon. He has [[dark-skinned male|dark skin]] with [[spiked hair|spiked]] [[black hair]] with [[antenna hair|two ahoges]] sticking out of it. He has [[blue eyes]] and wears dark-colored clothing. Due to the character's [[androgynous]] appearance and a comment by the anime's producer, portraying Goh as an [[otoko no ko]] is quite common. h4. Pokémon h6.
