V1 Pokémon #486 in the National PokéDex, a Normal type Legendary Pokémon.
A gigantic white golem pokemon with yellow/ gold rings and attachments on its body, black symmetrical markings on its body, its 3 long simple fingers on each hand, moss growing on its shoulders and feet,6 spherical bulges on its sides (colored red, blue, and silver respectively.), and a pattern of 7 small dots on its 'face'. A pokemon of great strength and legendary stature, Regigigas is said to have effortlessly towed continents using nothing but ropes and is speculated to have created the pokemon Regirock, Regice, and Registeel using nothing but Clay/ rocks, arctic ice, and magma respectively. Regigigas is infamous however, for its unique ability, Slow Start, which halves its impressive attack and usable speed for 5 turns when it is sent out. While slow start was simply intended to balance Regigigas, it worked too well, and it is frequently called one of the worst legendary pokemon as a result, being featured in many comics and images poking fun at it.

It comes to life only when Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are gathered. Therefore, it requires the three to be in the player's party to awaken it within the Snowpoint Temple "[2]":[#dtext-external-links], Twist Mountain "[3]":[#dtext-external-links], or Island Cave "[4]":[#dtext-external-links], where it sleeps. In the first two locations, it will still be present if those Pokémon are absent, but it does not awaken and only seems to be a statue to the player.

Japanese Name: Regigigas
