Tag type: General

A (usually) single artwork depicting growth (usually body size growth) sequentially in a horizontal or vertical fashion. This usually differs from comics by way of abstraction: It is very uncommon for growth sequences to feature elaborate backgrounds, panels, or complicated stories beyond an external force causing the growth. Single comic pages depicting a full growth could be argued to still be growth sequences.

It is best practice to feature a consistent scale within the artwork to make the growth readily apparant.

If the image contains just two stages, an initial and a final stage, the use of "before_and_after" should be encouraged.
If only one stage of growth is contained within any individual post, or if the post is animated, use of growth_sequence should be discouraged, as there are other tag combinations suitable to find these posts (such as "body_size_growth comic" or "body_size_growth animated").
