[[Azur Lane]]'s personification of the fifth and final [i]King George V[/i]-class battleship, HMS [i]Howe[/i] (32). Character design by [[Snow Is]], voiced by [[Ichimichi Mao]]. h4. Appearance In-game, her base art (post #4048060) portrays her with [[long hair|long]] [[gradient hair]] that is mostly [[blonde hair|blonde]] in color with an [[ahoge]], and [[blue eyes]]. Her outfit consists of a [[red dress]], [[fur collar]], a two-tone [[sash]] with her [[ship's badge]] attached to it, [[pantyhose]], and white [[knee boots]]. Her rig consists of two portions to each side, each with a single 35.6 cm quad gun mount and a funnel with two searchlights but her left carries a third 35.6 cm twin gun mount while her right carries two 13.3 cm twin DP mounts. Her hairstyle leads many players to note some similarities with [[Akai Haato]] although the personalities (and cooking/baking skills) are dissimilar between the two. h4. History In real life, [i]Howe[/i] initially saw service with the Arctic convoys before being transferred to the Mediterranean in 1943 to replace [[Alabama (Azur Lane)|]] and [[South Dakota (Azur Lane)|]], who had been withdrawn from European operations due to more pressing Japanese matters. [i]Howe[/i] herself would not see action against the Japanese until August 1944, the first time [[Royal Navy]] battleships had operated in the Far East since the loss of [i]Prince of Wales[/i]. In the Pacific, her role became the same as that of the US battleships: carrier screening and shore bombardment. She was decommissioned in 1950 and scrapped seven years later. h4.
