Paradox Pokémon is a type of terminology introduced in Generation IX. It is split into two categories: One resembling prehistoric relatives of it (exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet) and the other resembles future relatives of it (exclusive to Pokémon Violet). They cannot evolve or breed, they share the same category as Paradox Pokémon, and their names don't follow the usual naming conventions of the Pokémon franchise, except Koraidon and Miraidon.
