The Closer is a common [[monster]] in [[Silent_Hill_3]], and the first enemy type [[Heather_Mason]] encounters. The Closer is a tall, menacing creature with long, thick club-like arms. Its brownish body seems to mock the female form, as its entire face resembles a pair of lips; it also appears to be wearing a [[miniskirt]] and dark [[boots]] resembling Heather's. The Closer’s design is very similar to that of the [[Mandarin]] from [[Silent_Hill_2]], according to [[Masahiro_Ito]], because the Mandarin was one of the most “underrated monsters” of Silent Hill 2.
