Joichiro Nishi (西 丈一郎, Nishi Jōichirō) is a middle-school (8th grade) veteran of the [i][[Gantz]][/i] world, having arrived there over a year before the beginning of the series. Nishi has [[brown_eyes]], [[black_hair]] (tinted green in the anime) and very [[pale_skin]]. In the manga, he is shown with somewhat thin, shifty eyes.
