A bounty hunter in fiction is typically someone who takes on the job of hunting down a person or thing which has had a bounty placed on them, usually seeking financial compensation for their services. In many cases a bounty hunter is a neutral party, working for whoever pays the best rather than staying with the good or bad guys in a story. Bounty Hunters are also typically highly skilled professionals and may take in their targets alive or dead depending on what their employer wants.
