When the character appears in a well-defined form from a face, complete or partial (but usually including the mouth and/or eyes) is visible through an opaque membrane of any kind, be it skin, a plastic bag, or the like. Often used in [[vore]] to highlight the presence of a [[trapped]], [[struggling]] or [[suffocating|asphyxiation]] character. [[face_imprint]] in particular is also often associated with [[bagging]]. This tag should only be applied if the face can be discerned, usually made evident by an open mouth or the orbit of the eye showing through. For instance, the image on the left below shows the overall outline of a head, but not the face, unlike the image on the right. h4.
