The [b]High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV)[/b], commonly known as the [b]Humvee[/b], is a four-wheel-drive military automobile produced by the American company AM General since 1984. It was the [[america|U.S.]] armed forces replacement for the [[Jeep]], and is in turn being partly replaced by the Oshkosh L-ATV.
