"Legend of Combat Arena Gods" The very first 3D fighting game for the Playstation 1 platform, released in 1995. Toushinden is a primitive version of [[Soulcalibur]], utilizing weapons combat in a 3D field, but with the addition of [[Street Fighter]]-like special attacks that each character can use. The sidestep was also introduced in Toushinden, which Soulcalibur goes on to use.
