[b][i]Gundam ZZ[/i][/b] is the 1986 sequel to [i][[Zeta Gundam]][/i]. It was created by a mostly new creative staff, with series creator [[Tomino Yoshiyuki]] being the main returning member. The first half of [i]Gundam ZZ[/i] is notable for being significantly more comedy-oriented than previous and subsequent [[Gundam]] series. It is set in the year Universal Century 0088, beginning almost immediately after the end of [i]Zeta Gundam[/i].
