([[Sanskrit]]: Acala, [i]Achala[/i] अचल; "immovable" one) A guardian deity (vidyaraja) in esoteric [[Buddhism]] (Vajrayana). He is popular in Japanese Buddhist traditions, where he is called Fudou Myouou (不動明王).
