Refers particularly to the portrayal of Lady Huang, [[Zhuge Liang]]'s wife, in [[Shin Sangoku Musou]]/Dynasty Warriors. Her classic appearance makes her clothed in armor and gives her dark auburn hair, as an homage to the challenge she gave to her suitors in folklore (she claimed she was ugly, that she had tanned skin, red hair...), and she is armed with a dagger-axe or "ge". Her modern appearance varies between games. Her early appearance in [i][[Shin Sangoku Musou 5]][/i] gives her a lighter red hair color, somewhat tanned skin, a facial mark and she is armed either with a bow or a crossbow/dagger gauntlet weapon (termed the "blade bow") that she presumably invented. Her later appearances toned down her hair color (now a light auburn) and her skin color. In [i][[Shin Sangoku Musou 6]][/i], she is armed either with a staff or her classic dagger-axe. In [i][[Shin Sangoku Musou 7|7]][/i], it's either her dagger-axe or the blade bow. Regardless, she is always portrayed as a brilliant inventor.
