Psikyo (彩京) was a Japanese game developer, founded in 1992, acquired by X-Nauts in mid-2002, and then closed down in 2005. Psikyo was known for its difficult "second loops"; after completing the game, you start again, with a high difficulty increase over the first "loop". This has been present in every Psikyo shooter. h4.Arcade titles * Samurai Aces / Sengoku Ace (1993) ** Sengoku Blade: Sengoku Ace Episode II / Tengai (1996) * Battle K-Road (1994) * Gunbird (1994) ** Gunbird 2 (1998) ** Gunbarich (2001) * Strikers 1945 (1995) ** Strikers 1945 II (1997) ** Strikers 1945 III / Strikers 1999 (1999) ** Strikers 1945 Plus (1999) * Sol Divide - Sword of Darkness (1997) * Taisen Hot Gimmick (1997) ** Taisen Hot Gimmick Kairakuten (1998) ** Taisen Hot Gimmick 3 Digital Surfing (1999) ** Taisen Hot Gimmick 4 Ever (2000) ** Taisen Hot Gimmick Integral (2001) ** Taisen Hot Gimmick 5 (2005) ** Taisen Hot Gimmick Mix Party (2005) * Zero Gunner (1997) ** Zero Gunner 2 (2001) * Daraku Tenshi - The Fallen Angels (1998; developed by The Steel Hearts) * Pilot Kids (1998) * Space Bomber (1998) * Pocket Shooting (1999) * Cannon Spike / GunSpike (2000; licensed by Capcom) * Dragon Blaze (2000) * Lode Runner - The Dig Fight (2000) * Quiz de Idol!
