Masami Ōbari (大張正己, Ōbari Masami), born in the Hiroshima Prefecture on January 24, 1966, is an anime character designer and director for Studio G-1 NEO. Most known for the [[Sunrise Stance]], oft-reused elaborate transformation sequences, heroic builds for [[mecha]] (to the point where copying his style is known as giving one an "Obari workout"), and impressively detailed animations at key moments (fans call this going [b]"OBARI AS FUCK"[/b]).
