V1 Azur Lane's representation of the French battleship [i]Jean Bart[/i].
Character design by Ask (askzy), voiced by Inoue Marina.

h4. Appearance
[tn]See post #3202442.[/tn]

In-game, she is depicted as a leader of Vichya Dominion (the game's version of the Vichy French regime), having red eyes, long, and brown hair tied in a ponytail.

As her namesake is a historical French privateer, this influences her outfit, which is piratical in theme. Her outfit consists of a black jacket with gold fringes and epaulettes, black dress, red corset, black shorts, black knee boot to her left and a regular boot to her right, single striped thighhigh, and a single red glove.

She also carries a large French flag with the Vichy battle-ax in the middle.

Her rigging is somewhat similar to her sister Richelieu, albeit her gun coverings are painted black, while she uses 100 mm twin mounts instead of 152 mm triple mounts as a secondary armament. While she also has a bridge structure holding the two sides together, it lacks the mast and radars of her sister for historical reasons.

h4. History
Hastily evacuated half-complete as the Germans took over France, she was at anchor in Casablanca when the Allies took the base in November 1942, leading to her gunnery exchange with [i]Massachusetts[/i] where she was severely damaged. Turned over to the Allies after, she was not completed until 1949 and decommissioned a decade later.
