A character in [[Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club]]. She is a first year student at Nijigasaki Academy and previously attended its attached middle school. She has [[yellow eyes]] and [[short hair|medium]] [[pink hair]] with [[blunt bangs]], [[blunt ends]] and an [[ahoge]]. She's extremely shy and has trouble expressing her emotions, which is why she usually often covers her face with a [[sketchbook]] (dubbed the "[[Rina-chan Board]]") with a [[drawing]] of her face with the appropriate facial expression in pink marker. Rather than her uniform blazer, she wears a [[blue hoodie|blue]] [[hoodie]] with [[sleeves past fingers]] with the shade of blue depending on the season (cyan/light blue for summer and dark blue for winter) and always carries a [[marker]] on her pocket. Rina is really good with technology and "creating things". She even created an electronic version of the Rina-chan Board called "Auto Emotion Convert Rina-chan Board" which consists of a [[head-mounted display]] with an outwards-facing [[screen]] that she wears on-stage (since dancing requires both her hands to be free). She's also often seen with other gadgets such as a quadcopter or just working on a tablet or laptop.
