At school, he wears the standard [[yumenosaki school uniform|Yumenosaki uniform]], consisting on [[plaid pants]], a [[blazer]] and [[necktie]]. For Trickstar, he wears a [[plaid jacket]] with similar pants. Calm, cool, and collected, Hokuto is a hard-working perfectionist. He hates when his pace is disturbed. Though he might come across as cold to his noisy classmates at first, he values his friends. He's kind and will explain things thoroughly to those who don't understand, but he's also slightly air-headed. He's very close to his grandmother and doesn't get along with his actual parents. Hokuto is also best friends with [[akehoshi subaru|Subaru Akehoshi]] He's in charge of explaining how things work at Yumenosaki to [[anzu (ensemble stars!)|Anzu]] at the beginning of the story.
