Shizuka Tsuruki is the leading main character from the [[Girls und Panzer]] spinoff, [[Girls und Panzer Ribbon no Musha|Girls und Panzer: Ribbon no Musha]]. Shizuka, [[Matsukaze Rin]], and [[Endou Haruka]] are students at Tatenashi High School. They represent the school in Tankathlon (a cousin of Tankery) under the banner of Team Centipede. Shizuka is not only the team's leader, but also serves as the commander, gunner, and loader of the team's sole vehicle, a red [[Type 97 Te-Ke|Type 97 Te-Ke tankette]]. She has [[tsurime|upward-angled]] [[red eyes]] and [[short hair|short]] [[brown hair]] (or [[black hair|black]], depending on the artist). Her long bangs have been swept around in an unusual loop and kept in place with a [[large bow|large]] [[red ribbon|red]] [[hair ribbon|ribbon]] tied into [[red bow|a]] [[hair bow|bow]], from which the series derives its name. She also has a [[mole under eye|mole under her left eye]]. Shizuka is most often found wearing either a [[white shirt|white]] [[dress shirt]] or the full [[Tatenashi High School uniform]], along with [[loafers]] and [[brown legwear|brown]] [[pantyhose]]. However, she frequently slips off one of her shoes in battle "in order to non-verbally convey her directions to Rin":/posts/2227380. On more than one occasion, she has gone into Tankathlon battles wearing a suit of classical [[Japanese armor]] and wielding a [[bow (weapon)|bow]]. Shizuka makes frequent use of the [[emblem]] of [[Takeda Shingen]]'s [[Centipede]] force, even to the point of making it her own team's emblem and decorating the Type 97 with the symbol.
