[b][i]Magic Sword[/i][/b] (マジックソード) fully titled as [b][i]Magic Sword: Heroic Fantasy[/i][/b], is a side-scrolling [[fantasy]] action [[arcade]] [[video game]] released by [[Capcom]] in 1990. The game casts the player as a hero who must fight his way through several levels of a mystical tower in order to save his world. The player can use a sword, axe, or magic, and can also rescue and recruit potential allies of various character classes, each of which has his or her own special abilities. The game was ported to the Super Famicon/[[Super Nintendo]] in 1992 and was compilated for the [[Xbox]], the [[Xbox 360]], the [[Playstation 2]] and [[Playstation 3]] several years later.
