The eighth month in the Georgian and Julian calendars, which has 31 days. Use this tag when the month's full name appears in the post, whether by itself, as part of a celebration or birthday, or on a [[calendar (object)|calendar]]. In Japan, it is written as 八月 ([i]hachigatsu[/i]), although 8月 is acceptable and can be tagged as August. Do NOT use this tag if you see a numerical date like 1/14/2012 (January 14, 2012).
