Upon entry into the series, she was introduced as [[Watase Aoba]]'s classmate who was revealed to actually have came from the future and enrolled in the same school as Aoba, to protect him from a potential threat. However, in the year 2088, Hina appeared as [b]Hina Ryazan[/b] , a Valiancer pilot serving the Zogilia Republic. She pilots the Valiancer named Fortuna, and its successor, the Karura.
