あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。, lit. [i]"We still don't know the name of the flower we saw that day."[/i], abbreviated as [i]AnoHana[/i]. A Spring 2011 anime by A-1 Pictures and directed by Nagai Tatsuyuki, to be released in America as "Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day". Five years had passed since the Super Peace Busters, a group of six friends, dissolved following the tragic death of one of their own, [[Honma Meiko]], when the group's de facto leader, [[Yadomi Jinta]], who has since become [[hikikomori|a reclusive teen]], gets a visit from Meiko's ghost urging him to reassemble the gang to help her fulfill a wish so she may pass onto the afterlife. Slowly, they bring back the rest of the group: [[Anjou Naruko]], who remained in touch with Jinta as classmate, [[Matsuyuki Atsumu]], a handsome top-scorer and his schoolmate [[Tsurumi Chiriko]], and [[Hisakawa Tetsudou]], a wanderer who takes part-time jobs to fund his travels. h4.
