A World War II American [i]Yorktown[/i]-class [[aircraft carrier]]. She was nicknamed "Big E", "Lucky E", "The Grey Ghost", and "The Galloping Ghost". She fought in almost all of the battles in the Pacific Campaign and was considered a lucky ship due to surviving major damages and hardships. The [[Imperial Japanese Navy]] mistakenly believed they had sunk her on multiple occasions, only to encounter her again in later battles. She was the most decorated U.S. ship of WWII. Subsequent attempts were made to raise enough money to buy her from the US Navy and preserve her as a museum ship, but they all failed to reach the amount of money to do so. She was scheduled for scrapping on July 1, 1958 and was completely scrapped on May 1960. Although she does not appear in [[Kantai Collection]], multiple artists have created unofficial Kancolle-styled personifications of the ship, the most popular of which is [[Jeanex]]'s [[Enterprise (Pacific)]]. h4.
