A spider mage who first appears in [[Kirby: Triple Deluxe]]. While he is initially antagonistic towards [[Kirby]] and [[King Dedede]], all he is really doing is blindly following orders from his ruler [spoiler]and former friend[/spoiler] [[Queen Sectonia]]. After the latter seemingly dies at the end of her final battle, Taranza carries on with his life, sometimes continuing to help Kirby.
