A twin-engined [[World War II|World War II]] military transport known mainly for its role in flying supplies over the Himalayas to Allied troops in China. The round-nosed C-46 looked much like a fatter, bigger-tailed version of its contemporary, the more numerous Douglas [[C-47]] Skytrain. h4.
