The protagonist of [i][[Dragon Quest XI]][/i]. A young man who is known to be the Luminary, a legendary hero who can save the world. He is imprisoned and accused of being the harbinger of evil, prompting his quest. For the sake of convenience, his default name is [b]"Eleven"[/b]. He can also be refered to as [b]the Luminary[/b]. [spoiler]By the end, he's given the title of Roto/Erdrick, the implication being that his game is a distant prequel to [i][[Dragon Quest III]][/i], although how distant (or if there is any connection at all) is debatable.[/spoiler] Him, along with the heroes of [i][[roto|III]][/i], [i][[hero_(dq4)|IV]][/i], and [i][[hero_(dq8)|VIII]][/i], were chosen to be fighters on [[super_smash_bros.|Super Smash Bros.
