A type of [[nabe]] dish, cooked over a direct fire at the table in a nabe hot pot. Sukiyaki contains thinly-sliced [[beef]], green vegetables, [[mushroom]]s, [[tofu]], [[spring onion]], and (often) [[noodles]], in a [[soy sauce]], [[sugar (food)]], mirin, and [[sake]] cooking broth. It is usually served with raw [[egg]] for dipping. Also known as [i]gyuunabe[/i] (beef nabe). h4.
