A 2010 [[Bandai Namco]] game for the [[PlayStation Portable]], with a 2011 expanded version called "Gods Eater Burst" [sic] which was also the only version released outside of Japan. By the year 2071, humanity was pushed to near-extinction by the [[Aragami]], omnivorous monsters mistaken for deities. In a struggle for survival, a group of humans, dubbed "God Eaters", were tasked with hunting them down using God Arcs, biomechanical weapons made from Oracle Cells (the same material which forms the Aragami) and controlled via Oracle Cells injected into their own bodies.
