Flora is a character from [[Dragon Quest V]]. She is the daughter of a rich shipping magnate. After the hero completes some business for him, her father offers the hero her hand in marriage; the hero must then decide whether to marry Flora or his own childhood friend [[Bianca (dq5)|]] (or, in the [[Nintendo DS]] remake, the magnate's [i]other[/i] daughter [[Deborah (dq5)|]]). Her name in the official English version of the DS port is [b]Nera[/b]; "Flora" comes from an earlier fan translation of the [i]DQV[/i] script, and is a more accurate representation of her name in [[katakana]] ("[i]Furora[/i]"). h4.
