The SPAS-12 (Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun) is a combat [[shotgun]] made by Italian firearms manufacturer Franchi from 1979 to 2000. Recognizable by its pistol grip, hooked upward-folding stock (when so equipped), and aggressive styling.
