The "Seven-Colored Puppeteer". [[Touhou]] character. Stage 3 and Extra Stage boss of [[Mystic Square]] and later a recurring playable character. One of the few [[touhou (pc-98)|PC-98 era]] characters (along with [[Hakurei Reimu|Reimu]] and [[Kirisame Marisa|Marisa]]) to reappear in the Windows-era games. She first appeared in her current design as the Stage 3 boss of [[Perfect Cherry Blossom]]. She is often accompanied by her dolls, [[Shanghai Doll]], [[Hourai Doll]], or [[Goliath Doll]]. A human-turned-youkai [[witch]] who specializes in manipulating [[doll]]s and using them to attack her enemies. Unlike [[Kirisame Marisa|Marisa]], her neighbor in the [[Forest of Magic]], Alice is not only rather aloof, but also somewhat cowardly at heart, refusing to use her full power for any reason because she would not know how to deal with losing. This nature leads to [[doujinshi]] portraying her as having some tendencies of being [[tsundere]] towards her [[human village (touhou)|human neighbor]].
