[[Kantai Collection]]'s depiction of USS Houston (CL/CA-30), which was the fifth of six Northampton-class cruiser of the United States Navy. She is named after the city of "Houston, Texas":[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houston,_Texas]. She is the game's first Allied heavy cruiser. Visually, Houston has [[long_hair|long]] [[light brown hair]], [[brown eyes]], and a [[large_breasts|well-endowed chest]]. She wears a stylized [[naval uniform]] with a [[corset]], [[detached sleeves]], and a [[black_skirt|black]] [[pencil skirt]], a [[black_legwear|black]] [[thighband_pantyhose]], [[shin guards]], and [[high_heels|high-heeled]] [[rudder_footwear]]. She also has a [[white headwear|white]] [[peaked cap]]. Her [[machinery]] consists of a smokestack, a [[crane (machine)|crane]], and two large cannon [[turret]]s, each having three barrels. Houston has a [[remodel_(kantai_collection)|remodelled form]] where [[torpedo launcher]]s are added to her machinery among other upgrades and she switches to a [[white skirt|white]] pencil skirt which withstands damage, in comparison to the original black skirt which seems to disintegrate upon damage. The historical Houston was launched from Newport News, Virginia on 7 September 1929 and was sunk by torpedos in the Battle of Sunda Strait, on 1 March 1942. h4.
