An iconic series of Israeli submachine guns. There are three general models, all of which fire the 9x19mm round: pistol-sized, compact, and full-sized SMGs. Its boxy shape, prominent iron sights, and grip-loaded magazine gives the Uzi a distinctive silhouette. The Mini-Uzi can be equipped with a side-folding buttstock, whereas the full-size Uzi has a fixed wooden or telescoping metal stock. The pistol-sized Micro-Uzi has either a smaller folding stock or no stock. The Uzi Pistol is a semi-automatic version of the Micro-Uzi, with no capability to mount a stock. Often confused with the MAC-10 SMG, which also has a pistol grip into which the magazine is loaded. h4.
