Japanese Name: ティガレックス (Tigarekkusu) A pseudowyvern from the [[Monster Hunter (series)|]] series and flagship monster of [[monster hunter portable 2nd|Monster Hunter Freedom 2]]. The Tigrex, also known as the "Roaring Wyvern", resembles a quadripedal [[tyrannosaurus rex]] with wings protruding from its forelegs and yellow-and-blue striped scales. It primarily lives on the desert, though also known to migrate to mountains to feast on [[popo|Popos]]. The Tigrex are notorious for their sheer ferocity and agility, using their jaws, claws and tail to destroy their enemies, as well as a roar that can damage and blow away any enemy who comes too close. [[Monster Hunter Portable 3rd]] introduces a black subspecies suited for life on volcanoes and with an even greater ferocity. h4.
