Japanese name: メラルー (Meraruu) Humanoid, bipedal [[cat|cats]] called Lynians from the video game series [[Monster Hunter (series)|]]. They can be distinguished by their black and white fur, in contrast to the white and brown fur of their cousins, [[Felyne|Felynes]]. They're capable of speaking the human language and often find their way into human villages, finding employment as servants, surveyors, or hunting partners.
