[b]Alex Danvers[/b] (Full name: Alexandra Danvers) is a character from the CW Network's Supergirl TV series. She is the older adopted sister of Kara Danvers/[[Supergirl]], who was adopted by the Danvers family after Kara's escape pod landed on Earth years after the destruction of the planet Krypton and was found by her cousin [[Superman]], who handed Kara to the Danvers for safety. In the show, Alex is an agent of the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO), a secret government agency tasked with monitoring alien presence on Earth. Despite not being related by blood, both Alex and Kara cared for each other whenever they're in trouble.
