Choking on something (normally [[food]]) stuck inside the windpipe/neck, blocking or restricting airflow. Choking is not the same thing as [[strangling]]. A strangle is from the outside the neck, a choke is from the inside the neck. Choking and strangling are different types of [[asphyxiation]] (being unable to breathe). h4.
