Hair that has been separated from the rest into [[sidelocks]], [[ringlets]], etc., and then been freshly cut flat. Typically [[tress ribbon|tied]] or bunched together to create a tassel-like appearance. [[Akashi (kancolle)|Akashi]] from [[kantai collection|Kancolle]] is a prominent example of someone with these.
