The game crosses over characters, [[mecha]], and story elements from both the anime and manga versions of the [[getter Robo (1st series)|original Getter Robo]], [[Getter Robo G|G]], [[Getter Robo go|Go]], and the [[shin Getter Robo|Getter Robo Armageddon]] OVA.
