[b]Kikou Souseiki Mospeada[/b] (機甲創世記モスピーダ lit. "Armored Genesis Mospeada", known in English as [i]Genesis Climber Mospeada[/i]) is a science fiction [[mecha]] anime TV series created by Aramaki Shinji and Kakinuma Hideki. The 25-episode television series ran from late 1983 to early 1984 in Japan. The show is set in the year 2083, when the Earth faces an alien occupation that has lasted 33 years. [[Mospeada (mecha)]] stands for "[b]M[/b]ilitary [b]O[/b]peration [b]S[/b]oldier [b]P[/b]rotection [b]E[/b]mergency [b]A[/b]viation [b]D[/b]ive [b]A[/b]rmor", one of the transformable [[motorcycle]]-[[power armor]]s the series features. The other primary mecha featured in the show are the three-form transformable fighter called the Armo-Fighter AFC-01 [[Legioss]] and another three form heavy mecha called AB-01 [[Tread]]. All the human mechanical designs from the series were created by [[Aramaki Shinji]], while Kakinuma Hideki designed the alien mecha. Mospeada became [i]The New Generation[/i] in the [[Robotech]] American adaptation of the series. h4.
