A fictional female main character from [[choujikuu_kidan_southern_cross|The Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross]] [[mecha]] anime series from the 80s. [b]Jeanne Francaix[/b] is a [[blonde hair]]ed member of the [[ATAC]] ([i]Alpha Tactics Armored Corps[/i]) 15th squadron, a mechanized infantry unit used in the defense of the human colony at [[planet Glorie]]. Her [[mecha]] of choice is the ATAC [[Spartas]]. She can be a very jovial, funny, cheerful and childish character during peacetime, but also a serious capable leader and an intrepid, brave warrior during combat. In the original series her name and character were inspired by those of legendary [[france|French]] heroine [[jeanne_d'arc|Joan of Arc]].
