A character from the [[Choujikuu Seiki Orguss]] [[mecha]] anime [[science fiction]] TV series from the 80s. [b]Taii[/b] is a [[mu_(orguss)|Mu]] human sized sentient [[robot]] that was salvaged and reprogrammed by the crew of the [i]Glomar[/i] [[Emaan]] ship. Despite his small size he is equipped with concealed [[missile pod]]s in his chest, capable of destroying much bigger enemy mecha. Taii is also armed with a plasma cannon that he uses as cane. [spoilers]He was apparently destroyed at the end of the original [[Orguss]] series, but is later revealed to have survived and self-repaired himself, ending in another dimension and taking part in the events of [[Orguss 02]] (in modified form) 200 years later.
