A 1996 [[science fiction]] series animated by [[XEBEC]]. The series heavily mixes comedic and dramatic elements, and parodies many of the tropes of real robot anime. [[Mecha]] designs were provided by [[Akitaka Mika]] and [[Gotou Keiji]] served as animation director. Original character designs were provided by [[Kikuchi Michitaka]], who also penned the series' manga adaptation.
