A single-shot 40mm grenade launcher designed to be mounted under the barrel of a rifle. It was designed to replace the [[M79]], which was a stand-alone weapon. The under-barrel design gave soldiers the advantage of having both a rifle and grenade launcher at their disposal that they could easily switch between, making them more adaptable in combat. It was originally designed for the [[M16]] and [[M4 Carbine]] but can be fitted to many other rifles without modification. h4.
